THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS

The Spring George Mason Regional Library book sale, held April 14 - 17, could not have happened without the many hours spent by our adult and teen volunteers.  We haven't tallied up the total number of hours yet, but among the accomplishments are:

  • Unboxing over 1,250 boxes of books and materials and placing them on tables in the library
  • Manning cashier stations for 4 hours on Thursday, 8 hours on Friday, 7 hours on Saturday, and 5 hours on Sunday
  • Tidying up tables and adding books from boxes on the floor throughout the sale
  • Helping customers

Sunday's Book Sale - half price!

Today from noon until 5 pm, all of our remaining books and other items are half price.  We still have some great materials, now at even better prices.

Book Sale Do's and Don'ts

The book sale starts today at 5 pm and runs through Sunday at 5 pm.  We look forward to seeing you!  Here are a few reminders of book sale policies:

  • We can only take cash or checks for payment of your purchases.  NO CREDIT or DEBIT CARDS, sorry. 


  • The book sale ends each day promptly at the announced closing time. 

  • We haven't viewed videos or DVDs that are on sale.  We also haven't listened to the thousands of CDs that are on sale.

  • At busy times, we may limit how long you may leave your boxes or containers.
