Spring Book Sale Previews

In a few days, we hope to post our lists of special books that will be displayed in the Adult and Children's cases in the lobby of George Mason Regional Library.  These books will be available for sale beginning at 5 pm on May 1, at the start of the book sale.

Right now, we'd like to give you a peek into some of the other treasures that will be available at our sale.  We estimate that we will have approximately 50,000 titles in 80+ categories from A (for Animals, Art, and Architecture) to W (World History).  Our book sale takes place throughout the library and we will have maps available that show the locations of all of the categories.

On to some of the interesting finds for this sale:

** A large collection of older (1960s and '70s) comic books in our Collecting category. You can also find blank journals in this category

** Beautiful leather-bound, gilt-edged Easton Press editions in our Rare Books category

** A larger than usual collection of cook books, many of them gift quality (Mother's Day is coming up), in our Cooking category

** A lot of World War II titles in Military History

We hope to see you at the sale!
