SPRING 2014 Book Sale Reminders

Book Sale Hours:
Thursday, May 1 from 5 pm to 9 pm
Friday, May 2 from 10 am to 6 pm
Saturday, May 3 from 10 am to 5 pm
Sunday, May 4 (1/2 price day) from noon to 5 pm

The book sale ends each day promptly at the announced closing time.  We accept cash, check, or credit/debit cards.  Credit and debit card purchases are available only at a few of the cashier stations.  Please be in line to pay for credit card purchases at least 15 minutes before the end of the sale day, since the library wireless network (which we use to process payments) shuts down promptly at the end of library hours.  We may announce an earlier deadline for getting into the credit card purchase line if the checkout line is lengthy.

Book Sale Policy Reminders:

All sales are final We haven't viewed the DVDs and VHS tapes, nor listened to the recorded books or CDs.  When we placed the items on the sale table, all CDs and DVDs were in their containers.

Parking. Please be careful to park only in marked parking spaces and not along Evergreen Lane where the police may ticket you. There is also parking available at nearby shopping centers.

Bins and boxes and piles of books. No large bins or wheeled bins of any size going down the sale aisles or stored at the end of the aisles. You may carry one copier paper box or banker's box with you in the sales area.  We will have designated areas for you to leave your boxes while you continue to shop. You will need to mark them with your name. At busy times, we may limit how long you may leave your boxes or containers and how many containers you may store in the designated areas.

No  strollers in the sales area. That means you can bring the stroller into the building but you may not bring it into the small room where children's material is being sold, into the large sales room off the lobby, or into the aisles of the sales material out in the main library. Child carriers with solid frames that people wear like back packs are also not allowed in the sales areas.

Wheel chairs are always welcome.
